- Patsy Ann (Koon) Livingston, 83, of Leon, WV, went home to be with the Lord July 11, 2020, at Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, following an extended illness.
She was born August 20, 1936, in Belgrove, WV, the daughter of the late Louis A. and Hatty (Hunt) Koon. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Rhodes; brothers, Roy Westfall, Foy Koon, Jimmy Koon, Rodney Koon and Guy Scarbough and sisters, Fay Rae, Mammie Moore, Gay Sheets, Virgie Westfall, Gladys Murphy, Opal Hill and Sybil.
Patsy was a homemaker, a Christian and she loved her Lord. She was a loving mother and enjoyed cooking and canning.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Bernard L. Livingston; children and their spouses, Okey W. ?Willie? and Shirley Livingston, Jeffrey and Allena Livingston and Dianna and Bob Young, all of Leon; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brothers, Andy Kuhn of Burns Flat, OK, Allen Kuhn of Columbus, OH, and Ernie Koon of Ripley: sisters, Joy Knopp of Ripley, Janet Shimp of Sandyville, Nancy Graves of Frozen Camp and Jenny Weckerly in OK.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with Pastor Don Keefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
