- Bernard Lee Livingston, 88, Leon, WV, went to be with the Lord, July 20, 2021, in Mountain View Care Center, Ripley, WV.
He was born November 9, 1932 in Evans, WV, a son of the late Okey Laban Livingston and Eva Jane (DeVault) Livingston. His wife Patsy Livingston; daughter, Darlene Rhodes; brother, Cleon Livingston; sisters, Hazel Sayre Roberta Wheeler and Tacie Edwards preceded him in death.
He was a former operator for Foote Mineral Plant, New Haven, WV and was a member of the United Steelworkers Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and bee keeping. He loved the Lord and was a member of the Mount Tabor Church.
Survivors include his sons, Okey W. (Shirley) Livingston of Leon, Jeffrey L. (Allena) Livingston of Leon; daughter, Dianna L. (Robert) Young of Leon, WV; sister, Goldie Herdman of Mount Alto; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
Service will be 2 p.m. ~ Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Doug Garten and D.J. Casto officiating. Burial will follow in Creston Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
